Students
Students can get around faster, more efficiently and cost effectively. The vast majority of undergraduate students nationally are considered nontraditional in terms of living off-campus, according to the U.S. Department of Education’s NCES. Whether students live on campus, off campus, or at home they need transportation. Having a car on a college campus is difficult for students given the cost of a car, and the difficulty and cost securing campus parking. Furthermore, most colleges have initiatives to reduce campus car traffic and face severe parking shortages.
Faculty
Optimized tranasportation method for faculty considering that commuting to work is less than seven miles for most people. Close to 143 million Americans aged 16 and older commute to work each day. That's about 45% of the population that's on the move at any given time. More than 109 million commuters make their daily trip solo, which is about 76% of all commuting workers total.
